Homebuyer Education & Counseling Fee Policy
Homebuyer Counseling: There is no fee for any person to receive homebuyer counseling. Also, any credit reports pulled by One Roof for counseling purposes are done so at no cost to the client.
Homebuyer Education: All agencies offering the Home Stretch Workshop are required to charge a minimum of a $40 fee per households attending. If this $40 fee causes you any kind of financial hardship, let us know and we can waive the fee.
Exceptions:
- If two participants take the class as a part of one household, let us know and you will just need to pay one fee.
- If any participant identifies the fee as a barrier to attending the workshop, the Home Stretch fee will be waived.
Fees are non-refundable, unless participants are unable to attend and cancel prior to the start of class. If cancellations occur after the start of the workshop, credit will be issued for future One Roof workshops. If One Roof needs to cancel a workshop, fees will be refunded in full, unless the client prefers to use the credit toward a future workshop. Fees must be paid in advance or at the time of the workshop. This policy was updated and went into effect April 11th, 2022
