Homebuyer Education & Counseling Fee Policy
Homebuyer Counseling
There is no fee to receive homebuyer counseling. Credit reports pulled by One Roof for counseling purposes are provided at no cost to the client.
Homebuyer Education (Home Stretch Workshop)
- Agencies offering Home Stretch Workshops are required to charge a minimum of a $40 fee per household
- If the fee creates a financial hardship, it can be waived
- If two participants from the same household attend, only on fee is required
Cancellations and Refunds
- Fees are refundable if participants cancel before the workshop begins
- Fees are non-refundable once the workshop has started
- If you cancel after the workshop begins, a credit will be issued for a future workshop
- If One Roof cancels a workshop, fees will be refunded in full or applied to a future workshop at the participants request
- Fees must be paid in advance or at the time of the workshop.
