Welcome to the Tenant Landlord Connection (TLC).

The Tenant Landlord Connection, a program of One Roof Community Housing, is presenting a series of free workshops to help area landlords better understand their rights and responsibilities.

Join us for a brief overview of the RentHelpMN program, including eligibility requirements for tenants, information needed from landlords, how to apply, and much more! We will also review how TLC mediation services might help resolve any other tenant issues/disputes you may be experiencing related to Covid and/or the eviction moratorium.

To register for a virtual seminar, please contact Teri Carlson at tcarlson@1roofhousing.org. Once we have your completed registration, we will send you the link needed to join the meeting. If you are not available to attend the seminar during the scheduled time, it will also be recorded; if you would like to be sent a link to the recording to view after the fact, please let Teri know.

Mediation & Conflict Resolution:
In addition to offering workshops, we also offer one-on-one education for landlords and tenants when questions arise regarding rights or responsibilities, as well as free mediation services to help resolve a landlord-tenant conflict or dispute. The Tenant Landlord Connection is a neutral resource and does not advocate for either side or provide either party with legal advice. Our goal is to help landlords and tenants avoid costly court actions by facilitating a mutually beneficial agreement through mediation. Topics re-solved through mediation include non-payment of rent, lease violations, mutual termination of the lease agreement, and much more!
